Directorate of NVBDCP is in process for intensifying the malaria control and kala-azar elimination activities at National level by hiring the services of consultants & support staff. The following positions are required at HQ, Delhi for strengthening World Bank Project (Malaria & Kala-azar). The posts are purely on contractual basis and further continuation shall depend on performance during the project period.
  1. Consultant (Environme nt Safety): 1 Post
  2. Qualification: Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Life Sciences / Chemistry / Agriculture and should have 1 year experience in environmental management/ integrated pest management.
  3. Age: Below 65 years
  4. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000

  6. Consultant (Financial Managemen t/Accounts, Budget): 2 Posts
  7. Qualification: CA/MBA (Finance) And Minimum 2 years experience in accounting including analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, financial software and reporting systems.
  8. Age: Below 65 years
  9. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000
  10. Interview on 13th July 2010 (Tuesday)
  11. Consultant (NGO/PPP): 1 Post
  12. Qualification: Graduate degree in Anthropology / Sociology / Social Work / Mass Communication; preferably with Ph.D. with exposure to development work, advocacy and demonstrated understanding of PPP management, communication, research. And 3 years experience in the field.
  13. Age: Below 65 years
  14. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000

  16. Consultant (Public Health): 1 Post
  17. Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate degree/diploma in Preventive Social Medicine/Community Medicine/ CHA/ Public Health. And 3 years of experience in the area of specialization, of which preferably 1 year in public health programme.
  18. Age: Below 65 years
  19. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000
  20. Interview on 14th July 2010 (Wednesday)
  21. Consultant (Monitoring & Evaluation): 1 Post
  22. Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate degree in Preventive Social Medicine/ Community Medicine/ CHA/ Public Health And 3 years of experience in the area of specialization, of which preferably 1 year in public health programme OR MBBS with
  23. MPH/DPH with 3 years experience OR Post Graduate degree in Zoology /Life Sciences with 5 years experience in the field of vector borne disease control & health program.
  24. Age: Below 65 years
  25. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000

  27. Consultant (Training): 1 Post
  28. Qualification: In order of preference either of the below:
  29. MBBS with Post Graduate degree / diploma (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE). And 1 year experience preferably in training in health sector
  30. Post Graduate degree in the field of Life Sciences with 3 years experience preferably in training in health sector components.
  31. Pay: Rs. 40000-50000

  33. Section Coordinator: 2 Posts
  34. Qualification: Graduate with experience working as Office Superintendent or Section Officer to work as Section Coordinator to assist the officers and Consultants in day to day implementation of project activities and should be expert in handling official correspondence independently with noting and drafting. Minimum 5 years experience in handling World Bank Project or similar type of project shall be given preference.
  35. Age: Below 65 years
  36. Pay: Rs. 16,000
  37. Interview on 15th July 2010 (Thursday)
  38. Computer Programmer: 1 Post
  39. Qualification: BCA/Graduate with 1 year Diploma in Software development. Should be expert in developing Software for Management Information System (MIS) & Web Designing. A minimum of 1 year experience is required in developing latest software & Web Designing.
  40. Age: Below 45 years
  41. Pay: Rs. 12,000
  42. Interview on 15th July 2010 (Thursday)
  43. Secretarial Assistant: 6 Posts
  44. Qualification: Graduate from recognized University with shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m and typing speed of 30 w.p.m with computer knowledge on MS Office, Excel, Power Point and should have minimum 1-2 years experience in handling of official correspondence.
  45. Age: Below 45 years
  46. Pay: Rs. 8,500
  47. Interview on 16th July 2010 (Friday)
  48. Data Entry Operator: 1 Post
  49. Qualification: Graduate from recognized University. Working knowledge of computers and should be able to work with software used in statistical analysis. Minimum 1-2 years experience in data recording and data analysis.
  50. Age: Below 45 years
  51. Pay: Rs. 8,500
