Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2010
The UPSC will hold the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2010 commencing from 04th December, 2010 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.
- Conditions of Eligibility:
- Age Limits: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st January, 2010.
- Qualification: A Candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics and candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a recognized University.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulation given in Appendix-III of the Rules for the Indian Economics Service/ Indian statistical Service Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 05th June 2010.
