The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, Offers a challenging and inspiring career as a Group 'A' Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant at Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400. Applications are invited from Indian Citizens as per following details:
  1. Assistant Commandant (General Duty)
  2. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline of a recognized University by the Central/ State Government/ UGC with Mathematics and Physics as subjects upto 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education.
  3. Age: Born between (01 July 86 and 30th Jun 90).
  4. Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot-Navigator), The candidates failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) need not apply.
  5. Qualification: B.Sc. with Mathematics and Physics.
  6. Age: Born Between (01 July 84 and 30 Jun 92)
  7. Assistant Commandant Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Holders for Short Service Appointment as Helicopter and fixed wing pilots for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable up to 14 years
  8. Qualification: 12th Class passed or equivalent and should possess current commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) on the date of submission of application.
  9. Age: Born between 01 July 84 and 30 Jun 92
  10. Assistant Commandant Women (General Duty) for Short Service Appointment as Helicopter and fixed wing pilots for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable up to 14 years
  11. Qualification: Degree of a recognized university with Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or Class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent.
  12. Age: Born Between 01 July 86 and 30 Jun 90.
  13. Asstt. Commandant Technical Branch (Mechanical and Electrical):
  14. Qualification:
  15. Degree in Naval Architecture/ Marine Mechanical/ Electrical / Tele-Communication and Electronic/ Design/ Production/ Aeronautical/ Engineering or equivalent Qualification in any of the above discipline recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Marine Engineering graduates of IMET Kolkata, OR
  16. In Possession of Government of Indian Ministry of Surface Transport Certificate of Competency as 1st Class Engineer of Motorship or other similar certificate recognized by the Government. OR
  17. Possesses final examination certificate or the College of Marine Engineering under the Department of Surface Transport, Government of India, OR
  18. Have passed Section 'A' & 'B' of Institute of Engineers (India) Examination in nay of the discipline in Naval Architecture/ Marine Mechanical/ Electrical / Tele-Communication and Electronic/ Design/ Production/ Aeronautical/ Engineering or equivalent Qualification in any of the above discipline recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Marine Engineering graduates of IMET Kolkata.
