Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, under the aegis of National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Department of Space, Government of India is a premier Institute in the country with a mandate of imparting training and education in the field of remote sensing and geoinformatics for natural resources management. Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA @20% + Medical as per rule.
Project : Analysis of Satellite altimetry data for mesoscale oceanography studies.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc in Physics/Geophysics/Mathematics/ Physical Oceanography.
Desirable Qualification : Working knowledge in computational methods And programming skills on FORTRAN, C, LINUX OS etc.
Duration : A period of three years.
