- Scientist Gr.IV(2) Posts:-52 (UR-32, SC-08, ST-03, OBC-09), PAY:-Rs.15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 6600/- Age:-up to 35 Years
- Scientist Gr.IV(1) Posts:- 04 (UR-03, SC-01) Pay:-Rs.15600-39100 + G.P. Rs. 5400/- Age:- 35 Years
- Technical Staff, Gr.III(2) Posts:-10 (UR-07, SC-01, OBC-02) Pay:-Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/- Age:- 28 Years
- Technical Staff, Gr.III(1) Posts:-22 (UR-09, SC-04, ST-02, OBC-07) Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/- Age:- 28 Years.
- Research Interns 17 Fixed Stipend Rs.11,500/- p.m. Age:-25 Years
Age Relaxation as per rules.The date for determining the age limit/experience/qualifications shall be the closing date prescribed for receipt of applications i.e. 8.6.2010. The upper age limit, however, may be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per Government orders in force only in those cases where the post are reserved for respective categories and for the posts of Scientist Gr.IV upto five years for the employees working in CSIR Labs./Government/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings
How to Apply & Application Fee :-Prescribed Application form should be downloaded from CBRI website www.cbri.res.in or can be obtained from Controller of Administration, CBRI, Roorkee – 247667 in person or by sending a request along with a self-addressed envelope of 23x11 cm affixed with postage stamps of Rs.10/- on or before 1.6.2010. Photocopies of application form can also be used. The application form should be filled by candidates legibly with his/her own hand-writing using Blue ball point pen. Filled in application(s) in all respects, duly signed by the candidates alongwith synopsis sheet supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience, etc together with an application fee (if applicable) of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (US $25 for candidates applying from abroad) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, CBRI payable at State Bank of India (Code No.10635), CBRI Branch, Roorkee is to be sent in an envelope superscribing “Application for the post____________ (name of post applied for with Post code & Post No.)” to the Controller of Administration, Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee – 247 667 (Uttarakhand), so as to reach on or before 8.6.2010.
For On-Line Applications:-A provision also exists for on-line submission of application. The details of the Demand Draft must be filled in appropriate column in the online form. Candidates after successfully submitting application on-line, should take a print-out of the Application Form, paste his/her recent photograph in the appropriate column/space in the application, attach requisite documents along with the Demand Draft and should send at the address given above. Application submitted on-line will be treated as complete only if the hard copy of the application, duly signed by the candidate, along with relevant documents and DD as mentioned above are received at CBRI on or before the last date of submission of application i.e. 08.6.2010.
