BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE (BARC) invites applications for the following Group `A’ Gazetted posts in 300 bed hospital with 12
dispensaries across Mumbai and its agglomeration area. In addition, the hospital is running a dispensary for industry purpose at Vashi,
Navi Mumbai.
Name of the Post : Scientific Officer/D (Ophthalmic Surgeon))
Pay Band + Grade Pay : (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100+6600+NPA

Qualification &
Experience : MS/DNB(Ophthalmology) from a recognised University.
Surgical experience in `PHACOEMULSIFICATION’ and
`Posterior Segment’ will be preferred.
Basic Computer knowledge is preferable.
Each application should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Indian Postal Order/DD for Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty only) payable at
Mumbai in favour of Accounts Officer, BARC. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, dependents of defence service personnel killed in action,
persons with physical disability and women candidates are exempted from attaching Postal Order/DD to their application (attach
necessary proof). Persons with physical disability should produce necessary certificate from Govt. Hospital/Medical Board in support of
their claim.

2. PHOTOGRAPH: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed in the space provided for in the application and one
