The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is a premier Institute of Fashion Business Education with 15 Centres located at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Rae Bareli, Shillong and Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur (to be opened in 2010). The Institute is having excellent facilities for Fashion Business Education and Research in Design, Management and Technology and is looking for personnel of high caliber and potential for the following Faculty Posts to be filled on regular and contract basis: -

The Faculty positions are in the disciplines of Fashion Design, Fashion Management and Fashion Technology–Apparel, Textiles, Lifestyle Accessories, Communications, Apparel Manufacturing and Information Technology and Management, details of which are given on our website. The academic programmes at NIFT are inter-disciplinary in approach and lay emphasis on experiential learning. Candidates with interdisciplinary orientation and hands on approach will be preferred. Outstanding professional experience and significant contributions in the field would be an added advantage to candidates. Other allowances as per Central Govt. Rules. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC and PHP is as per GOI Rules. Contractual appointments will be for a period of 03 years.
