Filling-up of Faculty Positions on Direct Recruitment Basis
NIFM, a centre of Excellence in the Area of Public Financial Management established by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance invites applications from Indian citizens for faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor (SG), Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the area of Economics and Finance and Accounts.
Professor
- Pay Band 4: Rs 37,400 – 67,000 + GP Rs 10,000/- Age: Not exceeding 55 years Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 10 years in teaching/research/industry/professional out of which at least 5 years teaching experience should be at the level of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Pay Band 4: Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs 8,700/-Age: Not exceeding 50 years Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 8 years in teaching/research/industry/professional out of which at least 4 years teaching experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Pay Band 3: Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs 7,600/- Age: Not exceeding 50 years Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 8 years in teaching/research/industry/professional out of which at least 2 years teaching experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Pay Band 3: Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs.6,600/- Age: Not exceeding 40 years Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should have a doctoral degree. He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree (for economics discipline candidates having 55% marks at PG level are eligible) or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. He/she should have a minimum experience of 3 years in teaching/research/industry/professional. In exceptional cases, the condition of 3 years of experience can be relaxed.
