Qualifications:
Deputy Registrar
(a) A Master’s degree with atleast 55% of Marks /B grade of the UGC seven point scale. (b) A relaxation of 5% of Marks shall be given to SC/ST & physically challenged. (c) Five years experience as Assistant Registrar or its equivalent cadre in the institutions of higher learning. (d) Age: Should not have completed 45 years. Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC/ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged. (e) Knowledge of computer is essential.
Assistant Registrar
(a) A Master’s degree with atleast 55% of Marks /B grade of the UGC seven point scale (b) 3 years of Academic/5 years as administrative experience in the Superintendent cadre or its equivalent cadre in the institutions of higher learning. (c) Age: Should not have completed 45 years. Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC/ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged. (d) Knowledge of computer is essential.
Personal Assistant to Vice-Chancellor
(a) Any Master’s degree (55% or B grade) of the UGC seven point scale. (b) PG Diploma in Computer
Applications. (c) Shorthand –Tamil and English-Higher Grade will be preferable. (d) Administrative experience for not less than five years (e) Age: Should not have completed 45 years. Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC/ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged. (f) Desirable: Experience of working in Computer based technologies.
Superintendent
(a) Any Graduate (b) A pass in Account test for sub-ordinate officer, part-I. (c) Typewriting Higher grade in
English and Tamil (d) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution. (e) Desirable: Administrative experience for not less than five years in the recognized institutions of higher learning. (f) Age: Should not have completed 35 years. Maximum age limit 40 years in the case of SC/ST and 45 years in the case of physically challenged.
Assistant cum Computer Operator
(a) Any degree (Degree in B.Sc. Computer Science / B.C.A. desirable) (b) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution. (c) Desirable Experience: Experience of working in Computer based technologies. (d) Age: Should not have completed 35 years. Maximum age limit 40 years in the case of SC/ST and 45 years in the case of physically challenged.
Personal Clerk to Vice-Chancellor
(a) Any Degree (b) English and Tamil – Higher Grade Typewriting (c) PG Diploma in Computer Applications
from a recognized institution. (d) Age: Should not have completed 35 years. Maximum age limit 40 years in the case of SC/ST and 45 years in the case of physically challenged.
Lab Technician
(a) Graduate in the discipline concerned. (b) Desirable: Experience in the laboratory of any Educational
Institution. (c) Age: should not have completed 35 years. Maximum age limit 40 years in the case of SC/ST and 45 years in the case of physically challenged. (d) Knowledge of computer is essential.
System Administrator
(a) B.E. (Computer Science / Electronics) / M.C.A. / M.Sc. Computer Science with First Class. (b) Experience as Programmer for not less than two years. (c) Knowledge in Visual Basic, Oracle & Web Tech. with 2 yrs. Experience. (d) Age: Should not have completed 35 years. Maximum age limit 40 years in the case of SC/ST and 45 years in the case of physically challenged.

Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore – 632 004” payable at Vellore for Rs.150/-. No application fee for the SC/ST and physically disabled candidates on production of xerox copy of the Community Certificate / Physical Disability Certificate from the competent authority, as the case may be. Completed applications should be addressed to the Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore-632 004. The last date for the submission of the application form is 24.05.2010.
